Tango Jazz Quartet

Das Tango Jazz Quartett (TJQ) aus Argentinien ist ein Pionier bei der Schaffung eines neuen Tango-Sounds, indem es die Melodien und Rhythmen des Tangos mit der Harmonie und Improvisation des Jazz verbindet.
Nach 30 internationalen Tourneen hat sich das TJQ in der globalen Musikszene etabliert. Die Gruppe ist in Europa (17 Tourneen), den Vereinigten Staaten (drei Tourneen), China (eine Tournee), Russland (eine Tournee), Afrika (drei Tourneen) und Brasilien (fünf Tourneen) aufgetreten.

Das TJQ hat fünf Alben veröffentlicht und ist nicht nur im Quartettformat aufgetreten, sondern auch mit Jazz-Bigbands und Symphonieorchestern, und hat mit renommierten Musikern wie Richard Galliano, Delfeayo Marsalis und Vince Giordano zusammengearbeitet.
Das TJQ hat eine neue Art der Interpretation argentinischer Popmusik geschaffen, und ist für seine stetige Aktivität und die Innovation seiner musikalischen Ideen bekannt. Seine Musik reicht vom traditionellen Tango bis zu den Kompositionen von Astor Piazzolla, wobei sie den Jazz nie aus den Augen verlieren.

Die Konzerte im LOFT beginnen in der Regel gegen 20 Uhr - das LOFT öffnet jeweils um 19.30 Uhr.
Ausnahmen - zB an Sonntagen - sind möglich.

The Tango Jazz Quartet (TJQ) from Argentina is a pioneer in creating a new sound in tango by uniting its melodies and rhythms with the harmony and improvisation of jazz.
Following 30 international tours, the TJQ has established itself on the global music scene. The group has performed in Europe (17 tours), the United States (three tours), China (one tour), Russia (one tour), Africa (three tours) and Brazil (five tours).
Having released five albums, the TJQ has performed not only in quartet format, but also alongside jazz big bands and symphony orchestras, and have collaborated with renowned musicians such as Richard Galliano, Delfeayo Marsalis and Vince Giordano.
The TJQ stands out for having created a new way of interpreting Argentine popular music and is renowned for its constant activity and innovation of its musical ideas. Their music ranges from traditional tango to Astor Piazzolla’s compositions, never leaving the realm of jazz out of sight.

The concerts at the LOFT will generally start at around 8 pm CEST - the LOFT will open at 7.30 pm CEST.
