Cling Film

Cling Film ist ein Ensemble aus Musikern, welche Max Stadtfeld schon seit Langem zusammenführen wollte. Felix Hauptmann ist einer der renommiertesten jungen Pianisten der zeitgenössischen Musikszene, vor allem sein Bands Percussion und Serpentine bekommen in letzter Zeit viel Aufmerksamkeit. Philipp Martin hat zuletzt mit seinem Quintett Hypochrondrische Ängsteein Album veröffentlicht, welches die altbewährte Formel Text + Musik = Song bis aufs äußerste hinterfragt. Als Sideman spielte er mit Frank Möbus, Oli Steidle, Christian Weidner und der Band Glotze.
Das Ziel von Cling Film ist es, Klänge aus zeitgenössischer klassischer Musik des 20. Jahrhunderts mit elektronischen Sounds zu mischen, als Beispiel könnte man die Musik von Iannis Xenakis, Allan Holdsworth gegenüberstellen.

Die Konzerte im LOFT beginnen in der Regel gegen 20 Uhr - das LOFT öffnet jeweils um 19.30 Uhr.
Ausnahmen in der Winterzeit - zB an Sonntagen - sind möglich.

Cling Film is an ensemble of musicians that Max Stadtfeld has wanted to bring together for a long time. Felix Hauptmann is one of the most renowned young pianists on the contemporary music scene, with his bands Percussion and Serpentine receiving a lot of attention lately. Philipp Martin recently released an album with his quintet Hypochrondrische Ängste, which challenges the tried-and-true formula of lyrics + music = song to the extreme. As a sideman, he has played with Frank Möbus, Oli Steidle, Christian Weidner, and the band Glotze.
The aim of Cling Film is to mix sounds from 20th-century contemporary classical music with electronic sounds. As an example, one could contrast the music of Iannis Xenakis with that of Allan Holdsworth.


The concerts at the LOFT will generally start at around 8.00 pm CET - the LOFT will open at 7.30 pm CET.
Exceptions during wintertime - eg on Sundays - are possible.
