Once upon a time there was a melody, so fair it only needed some kick-ass drum groove, a steady bass and scrumptious chords. We tracked it down, caught it, added said remedies and thus started Emil Sommer Quartet (DK).
Since then we've hunted the rest of the melody's family and tied them in our repertoire so you get to hear everything from the melancholic aunt to the funky brother-in-law.
Touring Europe with the debut album "Have a Seat" we invite you to just that: Sit down and enjoy the unruly family with us!

Der Heimathirsch befindet sich im Herzen von Nippes, unweit vom Kölner Dom entfernt und doch auf eine andere Art kölsch. Natürlich gibt es das köstliche nur in Köln gebraute Bier frisch vom Fass und ja, wir feiern auch die fünfte Jahreszeit, und tragen das in Reagenzien (Kölner Stangen) befindliche Bier in lustigen Blechrondellen (Kränzchen) durch unser Lokal, so wie in jedem Kölner Brauhaus üblich. ...
